The local government unit (LGU) of Jagna, Bohol on March 23, 2023 under the leadership of Mayor Joseph Rañola (inset, upper left corner) through the Municipal Agriculture Office and the Jagna Mushroom Growers Association (JAMGA) conducted a 2-day “Mushroom Production” Training held at the Bohol Organic and Strawberry Farm, Mayana, Jagna Bohol. The training was attended by the women sector of Jagna town as part of the celebration of Women’s Month. One of the aims of the said activity was to empower women and give them opportunities for livelihood. The event was supported by the Department of Agriculture- Agricultural Training Institute (ATI) and the Bohol Agricultural Promotion Center (Bohol APC) with their expertise in Mushroom Production.
