DYTR Bohol’s station manager, Ted Ayeng, has announced that they have upgraded their broadcast tower from an old antenna toppled by super typhoon Odette to a new and powerful one that now stands in their transmitter complex in Dao district, this city. They also adjusted the height from 210 to 200 feet.

According to Ayeng, they have no problem with dead spots and grounding systems so far.

With a broadcast strength that is yet half of its full capacity, station DYTR-AM is now heard “crispy clear” in Danao, Sierra Bullones, Sagbayan, Valencia, Tubigon in Bohol and southern Cebu from Minganilla up to Santander and in Negros Oriental from Pamplona, Tanjay to Dumaguete, Kanlaon City – and in Mindanao from Cagayan de Oro to Iligan to Zamboanga Sibugay province.

In Region 8 or Eastern Visayas, DYTR is heard in as far as Borongan City, capital of Eastern Samar, in Guiuan and in other parts of Eastern Samar.

This latest upgrade and development proves that DYTR is the only radio station from Bohol that captures diverse audience in various parts of the Visayas and in Mindanao, aside from its online presence on website and social media.

DYTR Bohol is known as the True Radio, and has been serving Bohol for decades.

Truly we are serving from Bohol to the world, Ayeng said in his Facebook post.
