The much-anticipated D-League Governor’s Cup 2023 Season was launched over the weekend at the Ceremonial Hall of the Capitol. The event was led by Governor Aris Aumentado and attended by local chief executives and the organizing committee.
During the launch, the official logo of the Governor’s Cup was unveiled to the public. In addition, the official candidates for Miss Gov 2023 were introduced to the audience.
The excitement continued with yesterday’s opening of the Third District Conference Basketball Tournament in Candijay. The tournament will feature teams from Loay and Sierra Bullones as well as Candijay and Garcia Hernandez competing in both Junior and Open Divisions.
In addition to the basketball tournament, the District Conference Round for Miss Gov Cup will also take place this week.
The D-League Governor’s Cup 2023 Season is the first inter-LGU basketball tournament that takes place in Bohol province. The overall champion of the tournament will be awarded projects worth P10 million.
