Inabanga’s Lyndon Millanes wins bronze at NCAA track and field championship

Inabanga, Bohol – Lyndon Millanes, a student from Jose Rizal University in Mandaluyong, has made his hometown proud by winning a bronze medal in Triple Jump, placing 7th in Javelin Throw and 10th in Long Jump at the NCAA Season 98 Track and Field Championship.

According to Inabanga Mayor Jono Jumamoy, Millanes’ achievements have brought pride to the entire teamINABANGA.

“We are very proud of Lyndon’s achievements. He is a good example and inspiration to our brothers and sisters, especially to our youth,” said Mayor Jumamoy.

Millanes is the son of Inabangan siblings Nong Diony and Former Kag. Tita of Barangay Cogon. His success has been celebrated by the entire community.

Mayor Jumamoy encourages young people in Inabanga to follow in Millanes’ footsteps and strive for excellence in their chosen fields.

“Lyndon’s success shows that with hard work and determination, anything is possible,” he said.
