Robbery suspects in Ubay released?

Ubay, Bohol – Three suspects in a robbery at a gasoline station in Brgy San Pascual, Ubay, Bohol had been released over the weekend.

According to a radio interview with PSSG Jason Salgadus, the suspects had been charged in court but there was no resolution yet.

PMAJ ROMAR LABASBAS, Chief of PNP Ubay, also revealed that they received a release order from the Fiscal, which is why the police released them.

The release of the suspects has raised questions and concerns among the public. 

The case is still ongoing and further developments are expected.

The robbery in Ubay which resulted in the killing of the gasoline station’s security guard is among the series of deadly crimes that struck Bohol lately.

The Provincial Government of Bohol has not issued an official statement on the series of killings, robberies and drug proliferations in the province.

But both the Dioceses of Tagbilaran and Talibon in a joint statement have expressed alarm over the rampant crimes in Bohol.
