NOW SHOWING
“Reinfeld” at
Screenville Cinemas
A modern tale of Dracula’s loyal servant who, after centuries of
servitude, is ready to see if there’s a life outside the shadow of his
master, “Reinfeld” is now showing at Screenville Cinemas of Island City
Mall and Alturas Mall.
The star of “Mad Max: Fury Road” Nicholas Hoult plays the titular
Reinfeld, a henchmen for Dracula (Nicolas Cage) who longs for a life away
from the Count, his various demands, and all of the bloodsheds that comes
with them.
In the early 20th century, Dracula meets English lawyer R.M. Renfield
to broker a deal for some land, but ends up killing Renfield. Dracula reforms
himself and resurrects Renfield to continue serving as his assistant.
Ninety years later, Renfield relies on the superhuman strength and
agelessness Dracula gave him. Dracula has recently had a close call with
some vampire hunters who almost killed him, so the duo moves to New
Orleans to recuperate. There, Renfield discovers a self-help group for
persons in co-dependent relationships, and plans to hunt out the group’s
abusive lovers so he can kill and give to Dracula to feast on without feeling
remorse.

“REINFELD” is now showing at Screenville Cinemas of Island City Mall
and Alturas Mall.

COMING SOON
“Guardians of the Galaxy 3”
at Screenville Cinemas
A sequel to “Guardians of the Galaxy” in 2014 and “Guardians of the
Galaxy Vol. 2” in 2017, “Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3” will premiere
worldwide on Wednesday, May 3, at Screenville Cinemas of Island City Mall
and Alturas Mall.
The Guardians of the Galaxy are adjusting to life on Knowhere when
parts of Rocket’s past resurface. In order to protect him, Peter Quill (Chris
Pratt) must lead the Guardians on a dangerous mission that could lead to
the team dissolving if they fail.
Peter Quill is the half-human, half-Celestial leader of the Guardians
of the Galaxy who was abducted from Earth as a child and raised by a group
of alien thieves and smugglers called the Ravagers. In the film, Quill is in a
“state of depression” following the appearance of a younger version of his
dead lover Gamora (Zoe Saldaña-“Avatar” films), who does not share the
same affection for Quill as her older version had for him, which in turn
affects his leadership of the Guardians.

“GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY VOL. 3” will premiere worldwide on
Wednesday, May 3, at Screenville Cinemas of Island City Mall and Alturas
Mall.

Marcela Fertilizer
now certified organic

The Organic Certification Center of the Philippines (OCCP) recently
granted the Marcela Farms fermented poultry manure fertilizer the Seal of
Excellence and Integrity and certified it as organic.
OCCP is a certification and inspection body for food and products, as
well as agricultural inputs such as fertilizer, pesticide, and fertilizers, serving
the agriculture industry and the consumers of certified products. Its primary
purpose is to certify secure, wholesome, and compliant with Philippine
organic agriculture standards products.
Julie Ann Gepielago, the certification manager for OCCP, signed the
certification for Marcela Fertilizer with the number 072723 on April 24.
Farmers’ testimonies demonstrate that Marcela Fertilizer, a high-
quality product of Marcela Farms, Inc., a subsidiary of the Alturas Group of
Companies, is produced from pure poultry excrement and effectively
improves the soil on rice fields and other farmlands.
It is not surprising that the Marcela Fertilizer is one of the most visited
stalls at some local agri-fairs, given that people are increasingly interested in
planting and farming, particularly since the government encourages
everyone to transfer their focus to agriculture. The Marcela Farms fertilizers
enhance soil fertility more than any other commercial fertilizers, allowing
customers to clearly discern the difference between organic and chemical
fertilizers.
