Cong. Alexie Besas-Tutor (right) led the groundbreaking ceremony of the P180 million worth of project in Sierra Bullones, Bohol on April 2, 2023. The fund appropriation for the project is broken down as follows: Flood Control Structure along Wahig River – P100 Million taken from the General Appropriations Act (GAA) for FY 2023, and Wahig River Control, Phase 2 – P80 Million taken from the GAA for FY 2023. Cong. Tutor said that to benefit from the project are 4 baranays, namely: Villa Garcia with punong barangay (PB) Nicanor  Salarda; San Jose with PB Sancho Salas; Canlangit with PB Artemio Amila; and Bugsoc with PB Vida Quieta. During her speech, Tutor thanked the following for their help in the project:

members of the Bugsoc Council; the presence of Mayor Michael Doria represented by Sangguniang Bayan (SB) member Patrick

Bungabong Unajan; Vice Mayor Dodie Maestrado represented by SB member Antonio Muñoz, Jr.; SB members Ariel Jabay, Gia Bungabong, and Jopre Buslon; barangay council members of the 4 barangays; DepEd; DPWH III headed by District Engr. Magiting Cruz; and all the department heads, personnel & staff for the event
