Batuan mayor Antonino Jumawid (inset, upper left corner) has been leading a group from the local government unit in conducting a series of barangay visits dubbed as “Sandurot ug Serbisyo Publiko” through the joint efforts of the Legislative and Executive Departments. With Mayor Jumawid in this project are: Vice Mayor Zeniza Bulalaque, the local Sanggunian Bayan (SB) members, the different department heads who have been consistently rendering their service to the people from barangays Garcia and Cabacnitan. The services rendered by the group include, among others, the following: Information Dissemination Campaign, Free Medical Check Up, Free Legal Consultation, Free Haircut, Free Manicure
and Pedicure, and Free Seedlings Distribution. The “Sandurot ug Serbisyo Publiko” activities were done at barangay Garcia on April 11, 2023 and at barangay Cabacnitan on April 18, 2023. The barangay visit will continue to be done in the other barangays. Hence, the different barangay folks are requested to keep watch of the schedule of the group’s visit in their barangays.
