On April 23, 2023, the opening of the Governor’s Cup 2023 2nd District Conference was held in Talibon, Bohol. During the event, the town of Trinidad was strongly represented led by the delegation head, Mayor Roberto Cajes (left) together with former Mayor Judith Del Rosario-Cajes (right) and Trinidad’s entry to the Ms. Governor’s Cup competition, Rose Jane Rayla Israel (center). Israel was adjudged as one of the Top 3 muses and will be representing the 2nd district in the incoming final edition of the competition this June, 2023. Israel also grabbed the People’s Choice Award and Best in Casual Interview Award. The mayor was very strong in his appeal to every resident in his town to support the Trinidad Basketball Team
