Heavy Rainfall Warning Issued for Northern Bohol

Bohol, Philippines – A heavy rainfall warning has been issued for the northern portion of Bohol by PAG-ASA on Wednesday, May 3, 2023. The warning comes as a result of a Low-Pressure Area and an Inter Tropical Convergence Zone.

Towns including Tubigon, Clarin, Getafe, Talibon, Inabanga, Sagbayan, Danao, Trinidad, Calape, Pres. Carlos Garcia, San Miguel, Bien Unido, Ubay and Buenavista have been placed under a yellow warning level. Residents are advised to exercise caution as flooding and landslides are possible.

Several local government units including Talibon, Clarin, Corella, Inabanga, Calape, Maribojoc, San Miguel, Buena Vista, Carmen and Dauis have suspended classes due to the heavy rainfall brought upon by the low pressure.
