Boholano Job Seekers to Benefit from Upcoming Employment Fairs

Boholanos seeking employment will have the opportunity to attend several job fairs in the coming months.

These events, announced by guest agencies OWWA-Bohol, DOLE Bohol Field Office, and BEPO-PESO on this week’s Capitol Reports, aim to provide employment opportunities and uphold labor rights for the Boholano people.

The first employment fair will take place on May 7, 2023, at the Calape Cultural Center and Sports Complex. Hosted by BEPO-PESO and LGU Calape, the event will offer job seekers the chance to connect with potential employers.

A Special Recruitment Activity for overseas employment will be held on May 8-9 at the BEPO-PESO Office. Interested applicants can apply through this link: https://bit.ly/3NxHBKp

Another job fair will be held on June 7, 2023, at Tagbilaran City’s Bohol Cultural Center.

In addition to promoting these events, the guest agencies also discussed the labor code and the importance of knowing one’s labor rights.

Family Welfare Officer Reymark Madulara from OWWA-Bohol, Labor and Employment Officer II Hadassah Liezel Cadua from DOLE Bohol Field Office, and Office Head Maria Vilma Yorong from BEPO-PESO shared their insights on what Boholanos should do if their employment rights are violated.

These efforts by the Provincial Government of Bohol and its partner agencies demonstrate their commitment to fair labor treatment and appropriate working conditions for all Boholanos.
