Town News-INABANGA

TEAMINABANGA led by the INaBanga Department of Public Health participated in the Department of Health’s MR-OPV SIA Campaign and conducted a Kick-off Drive at CHIKITING LIGTAS in Barangay Poblacion. Inabanga mayor Jono Jumamoy (inset, upper right corner) on May 8, 2023 campaigned for the activity and said:

“Let’s vaccinate the children of INaBanga for their own good and to avoid illness.” The whole country and our province of Bohol, especially our dear INaBanga, are actively participating in the vaccination drive conducted by the DOH for the whole month of May 2023. The aim of this activity is to vaccinate children free of charge to keep them from polio, rubella, and measles.

Parents are also urged to vaccinate their children so they can support the “Children Safe for a Healthy Philippines!” For the success of the activity, Mayor Jumamoy thanked the IDPH team headed by Dr. Edar Ajo, Dr. Vane, Nurse Marlyn, poblacion barangay Officials, and the parents. He additionally said: “Let’s work hard so that we can be Healthy INaBanga!” Contributed photo
