Wedding bells merrily rang at during ceremonies
held at the St. Jude Thaddeus Church, Mansasa
District, City of Tagbilaran for Daryll Dalagan and
Noreen Labasan at 2:00 p.m. on May 27, 2017 –
almost six years ago. This Saturday, May 27, 2023
will exactly be the 6 th year anniversary of their
wedding ceremony.
Let us have a back read of the feature which this
section made of their wedding celebration hosted by
“SMILE”, Philippines. This was what we exactly
wrote about their wedding celebration 6 years ago.
“Daryll is an international seaman whose
parents are Mr. Trifon Dalagan & Mrs. Ofelia
Dalagan while Noreen is a nurse based in the Middle
East whose parents are Mr. Edgar Labasan & Mrs.
Crispina Labasan.
Noreen came to know Daryll through her
brother. This was on September 8, 2009. And their
first meeting led to constant communications. Daryll
was then a 2 nd year College student in Marine
Engineering at the PMI Colleges, Bohol. He was a
boarder at the house of Noreen’s grandparents
located near her family’s residence. At that time,
Noreen just passed the Nursing Licensure
Examination.
Daryll was the happiest of all when he got
Noreen’s yes not long after he courted her. In the
year 2012, both of them started to work abroad:
Noreen as a nurse in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia
and Daryll as a licensed Marine Engineer.
On July 4, 2015 the two got engaged. Daryll
continued working as an Engineer and Noreen
started with her new assignment in Abu Dhabi until
they decided to get married.
The wedding reception was held at the Dagohoy
Grand Hall of the Bohol Tropics Resort with Richard
and Roger of the Nightingales as
coordinator/planner and with Chromatel capturing
the photos and video coverage.

Philippines was wedding commentator and
reception host.
