Balilihan Vice-Mayor Trisha Chatto is currently traveling to Australia for a week-long immersion into the country’s political systems and processes.
The trip is fully-funded by the Australian Political Exchange Council (APEC) and is a great opportunity for Chatto to learn about Australia’s culture and approach to social issues.
Chatto will be joined by six other young leaders from different parts of the Philippines, all chosen by the Philippine Center of Young Leaders in Governance.
The group will have the chance to learn about Australia’s political systems and processes, and gain valuable insights into how the country addresses social issues.
The trip is an exciting opportunity for Chatto and the other young leaders to expand their knowledge and bring back new ideas to their respective communities.
The APEC-PCYL Delegation to Australia was sent off at the Australian Embassy in Makati City.
Australia has been one of Bohol’s strongest partners and supporters in various development programs.
Vice-Mayor Chatto was also very happy to hear that most of the Embassy officials love Bohol so much that they keep going back and even bring their families with them.
