Piskay Art Group Holds Kabilin Exhibit

The Piskay Art Group and Gallery recently opened their visual art exhibit “Kabilin” in celebration of Boholano heritage and culture.

The exhibit, which commemorates the Philippines’ National Heritage Month, features over forty artworks created by 14 members of the Piskay Art Group and Gallery and two visiting artists.

The exhibit was officially opened to the public on May 22, 2023, with a ribbon-cutting ceremony.

Piskay Founder and exhibit artist Joel Labrador described Kabilin as a “nostalgia” exhibit that aims to empower people to keep in touch with their Boholano identity.

The exhibit will run from May 22 to June 2, 2023, at the New Provincial Capitol Building lobby in Tagbilaran City.
