Batuan Mayor Antonino “Dodo” Morala Jumawid (inset, upper left
corner) convened the members of the municipal development
council (MDC) on May 19, 2023 to discuss some proposed
subjecst which the town wants to embark on. Called to gather for
a meeting were: Vice Mayor Zeniza Bulalaque; the 15 barangay
captains representing the 15 barangays of the town; the municipal
planning and development coordinator (MPDC) – Eliseo
Sumampong; the municipal disaster risk eduction and
management officer (MDRRMO) – Marinel Hilot; the municipal
engineer – Engr; Keith Martin Endres; KALAHI area coordinator –
Wilma Fajardo; and the members of the KALAHI staff. Discussed
during the meeting were the following proposed projects through
the KALAHI Program: the Road Concreting of Barangay Pob.
Norte to Barangay Quezon and the Water Reservoir Project.
