On May 22, 2023, LGU Trinidad extended financial assistance to
the families and individuals affected by the fire incident that
occurred on May 15, 2023, at Purok 1, Poblacion, Trinidad. The
assistance covered various cases, including five families whose
houses were completely destroyed, 19 student boarders and four
worker boarders, six displaced workers, one family with a partially
damaged house, three stall renters with structures that were
completely burned, one commercial building owner, and two
space renters with partially damaged spaces. In total, LGU
Trinidad disbursed an amount of 135,000.00 to support these
individuals and families. Additionally, the DSWD Field Office VII
also provided support to the affected families and individuals by
offering essential items. These included family food packs, family
kit, kitchen kit, sleeping kit, hygiene kit, malong, mat, and
mosquito net with the presence of Mayor Roberto C. Cajes, (2 nd
from left), and Vicky Cajes (extreme, left), municipal social welfare
and development office head. Each family received kits worth
P7,326.88, while each student boarder received kits worth
