the performance of their elected officials, said HNU during the public
result presentation.
This is good news for the officials, as it suggests that they are on the
right track, HNU said.
However, the officials should not take the voters’ satisfaction for granted,
HNU poll added.
They should continue to work hard to improve the lives of the people of
Bohol, it noted.
SECOND IN THE REGION
Meanwhile, Bohol Governor Aris Aumentado has ranked second in the
recently conducted “Boses ng Bayan” survey by the RP-Mission and
Development Foundation Inc. (RPMD).
The survey, which was conducted from February 25 to March 8, 2023,
assessed the job performance of governors in Central Visayas.
Aumentado received a rating of 87.75%, placing him second behind
Cebu Governor Gwen Garcia, who received a rating of 91.80%.
The late Negros Oriental Governor Roel Degamo placed third with a
rating of 82.31%, while Siquijor Governor Jake Villa placed fourth with a
rating of 76.29%.
The survey was conducted through a random sampling of 1,000
registered voters in each of the four provinces in Central Visayas.
The respondents were asked to rate the performance of their respective
governors on a scale of 1 to 10, with 1 being the lowest and 10 being the
highest.

The survey results showed that Aumentado was praised for his
leadership, his efforts to improve the province’s economy, and his
commitment to providing quality public services.
In a statement, Aumentado thanked the Boholano people for their
support and expressed his commitment to continue working hard for the
province.
“I am grateful for the trust and confidence that the Boholano people have
placed in me,” Aumentado said. “I will continue to work hard to improve
the lives of all Boholanos.”
The “Boses ng Bayan” survey is a regular survey conducted by the
RPMD to assess the performance of public officials.
The survey is a valuable tool for the public to hold their elected officials
accountable.
