Alburquerque Police Arrest Top 1 Most Wanted Person

Alburquerque, Bohol – The Alburquerque Municipal Police Station (MPS) arrested the top 1 most wanted person in the municipality on June 2, 2023.

The suspect, identified as Jake Illimar Padon y Banghal alias “Olong,” was arrested at Barangay Western Poblacion at around 6:30 p.m.

Padon was arrested by virtue of a warrant of arrest for violation of Section 11, Article II of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.

The warrant was issued by Hon. Samuel Amila Biliran, Executive Presiding Judge of Regional Trial Court (RTC) Branch 50 in Loay, Bohol.

Padon was informed of his rights during the arrest and was turned over to the Alburquerque MPS for booking and documentation. He will be facing charges in court.

PCPT Jasper C. Reyes, the chief of the Alburquerque MPS, commended the community for their help in the arrest of the most wanted person.

“We are fortunate to have a community that is dedicated to helping the Philippine National Police,” Reyes said.

The arrest of Padon is a major success for the Alburquerque MPS and a step forward in the fight against illegal drugs in the municipality, Reyes said.
