NMYL Bohol Chapter Holds Medical Mission in Sagbayan

The National Movement of Young Legislators (NMYL) Bohol Chapter held a medical mission in Sagbayan on June 3, 2023.

The event was in partnership with the Provincial Government of Bohol (PGBh), the Municipality of Sagbayan, and Ph-Cares, Pamayanang Handa.

Approximately 84 beneficiaries from 7 Sagbayan barangays received free services. These included free medical consultations from volunteer doctors, vitamins, maintenance drugs, free legal aid, and wheelchairs for disabled recipients.

NMYL-Bohol Chairperson Board Member Jamie Aumentado Villamor said that the medical mission is in line with the organization’s motto of “leading with mind and serving with heart.” It is also part of the NMYL-Bohol Action Agenda 2025 and the PGBh’s Strategic Change and Development Agenda on Health and Social Services.

Villamor added that the organization plans to hold more medical missions in other LGUs in the future.

The medical mission was well-received by the beneficiaries, a testament to the NMYL-Bohol Chapter’s commitment to serving the people of Bohol.
