The Provincial Government of Bohol (PGBh) and the National Housing Authority (NHA)-Bohol held an evaluation meeting on June 5, 2023, to discuss the recent distribution of financial assistance to Typhoon Odette victims in Ubay, Bohol.

The meeting gathered feedback and addressed issues encountered during the distribution, including the physical setup, process flow, manpower, and unanticipated problems. It also focused on reorienting the steps for pre-validation and correcting beneficiaries’ documents.

Attendees included NHA-Bohol Officer-in-Charge Genesis Caesar Manalili, Senior Corporate Accountant Kenneth Trajano, Senior CSSO Lolibel Apatan, Provincial Shelter Cluster Focal Person Ronilita Bunado, and the staff under Emergency Housing Assistance Program (EHAP).

“We are committed to providing assistance to those who were affected by Typhoon Odette,” said the Provincial Government of Bohol. “We are continuously working to address any issues that may arise in the distribution of assistance, and we are grateful for the feedback of our beneficiaries.”

The NHA-EHAP is a program that provides financial assistance to families who have lost their homes due to natural disasters. The program provides a one-time payment of PHP 20,000 to each beneficiary.

The PGBh and the NHA-Bohol are working to ensure that the distribution of assistance is as smooth and efficient as possible. They are also working to identify other ways to assist those who were affected by Typhoon Odette.
