A man stabbed his wife and daughter in Brgy. Buenos Aires, Tubigon, Bohol on Tuesday, June 13, 2023. The victims were rushed to the Catigbian Hospital, where they are currently in critical condition.
The suspect, identified as Emilio Magdoza, was arrested after a standoff with police. He was taken to the Tubigon Community Hospital for treatment of injuries he sustained during the incident.
Police have not released a motive for the stabbing, but they believe it may have been domestic violence related to jealousy. Magdoza and his wife were reportedly separated, and he had been living with his parents.
