The City Government of Tagbilaran and Bohol Water Utilities,

capabilities in the city.
The partnership, which was formalized through a Memorandum
of Agreement (MOA) signed by Mayor Jane Yap and BWUI
General Manager Marnellie Bautista on June 14, 2023, will see
the two entities working together to ensure that there is a
constant supply of water available for fire hydrants located in
strategic areas of the city.
Under the terms of the MOA, the City Government will be
responsible for installing fire hydrants in strategic areas where
BWUI water pipelines are present.
The City Government will also be responsible for maintaining
and repairing the fire hydrants.
The Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) will be responsible for
monitoring the conditions of the fire hydrants.
BWUI, on the other hand, will be responsible for ensuring that
all fire hydrants have a constant supply of water.
