Tubigon mayor William Jao (inset, upper right corner) bared that on June 9, 2023, the participants in
the 2nd Batch Gender Sensitivity Training (GST) successfully completed the 2-day workshop held at
Tubigon Administrative Building. The training aimed to capacitate job order and contractual
employees of the Local Government Unit of Tubigon relevant information and skills on gender and
development (GAD) while discussing gender issues. The trainees themselves formulated action plans
to benefit all genders without prejudice. The GST was facilitated by the Municipal Social Welfare and
Development Office headed by Rey Envidiado and GAD Coordinator, Amazing Grace Salitrero.
Chanyoung Woo, a US Peace Corps volunteer, also assisted in the conduct of the GST. Contributed
