The Provincial Government of Bohol (PGBh) celebrated the achievements of 87 graduating college students on Monday, June 26, 2023.
The students, all recipients of the Carlos P. Garcia Scholarship Program, were honored at a recognition ceremony held at the Provincial Capitol Building in Tagbilaran City.
Metodio “John” Maraguinot Jr., head of the PGBh Education Center (ED Center), was joined by 1st District Board Members Aldner Damalerio and Lucille Lagunay in presenting the scholars with Governor’s Special Citation certificates and official PGBh seal-engraved medals. The certificates were signed by Governor Aris Aumentado.
The Aumentado-Balite Administration and the SP have pledged to continue their advocacy of providing educational opportunities for Boholano youth, particularly those who are underprivileged.
The CPG Scholarship Program is a key part of their Strategic Change and Development Agenda.
