Tagbilaran City Government Organizes Job andBusiness Fair to Boost Employment Opportunities

As part of the upcoming Tagbilaran City Charter Day
celebration, the City Government of Tagbilaran, in
collaboration with the Department of Labor and
Employment (DOLE), Overseas Workers Welfare
Administration (OWWA), and Department of Trade and
Industry (DTI) and City Public Employment Service
Office, conducted a successful Trabaho Negosyo
Kabuhayan Job and Business Fair at the City Hall atrium
on June 24, 2023.
The event aimed to provide a significant boost to
employment opportunities and entrepreneurial ventures,
further strengthening the local economy.
Tagbilaran City PESO Officer Mark Borja disclosed that
out of the total number of registered applicants, an
impressive eleven (11) out of two hundred eighty-three
(283) were successfully hired on the spot during the job
fair.
Additionally, among the two hundred eighty-three (283)
applicants who underwent interviews, forty-nine (49)
were considered as near hires.
