According to Batuan Mayor Antonino “Dodo” Jumawid (inset, upper right corner), this is part of LGU-Batuan’s 20% Development Fund downloaded and given to the barangay/Barangay Empowerment Program. The release was through the representation of Norte Barangay Captain Engr. Joseph “Ojap” Laurden. Aside from this, the town also set aside the amount of Php 300,000 for the Farm to Market Road of Norte (Purok) and Norte (Cambacay and Sur) included in the budget for pathways worth Php800,000.00. The barangay and the town also set aside some counterpart funds for Kalahi Cidds. Mayor Jumawid said: “Ang Kalahi micemento sa Purok 2 ug sunod niini ang Norte to Quezon. Migahin usab ang lungsod ug pundo para sa pag-ugmad sa kalsada gikan sa highway to brgy hall ( to be implemented) samtang giugmad ug gigrabahan na ang Highway/Acacia- connecting Tindalo, Tinagakan Road. Sukad sa 2016, matag tuig migahin ang lungsod ug midownload sa pundo ngadto sa barangay (at least 250k to 300k yearly) sa Poblacion Norte, ug tanang barangay sa Batuan.
