“Indiana Jones 5” at
Screenville Cinemas
The world-renowned globetrotting archaeologist and college professor
is back in the fifth and final installment of the Indiana Jones film series,
“Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny,” is still showing at Screenville
Cinemas of Island City Mall.
In this sequel to “Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull”
in 2008, daredevil archaeologist/adventurer Indiana Jones (Harrison Ford)
races against time to retrieve a legendary artifact that can change the
course of history, as it allows the owner to control the forces of space and
time.
In 1944, Jones helps colleague Basil Shaw against a Nazi agent
turned NASA scientist, Jürgen Voller (Mads Mikkelsen), from obtaining a
mysterious dial known as the Antikythera. Voller sees the object as the
opportunity to correct Hitler’s past mistakes and wishes to make the world
into a better place to live.
Twenty-five years later, the US government has recruited former
Nazis to help beat the Soviet Union in the space competition, but Jones finds
himself squaring off against Voller.
“INDIANA JONES AND THE DIAL OF DESTINY” is still showing at

The seventh installment in Tom Cruise’s action-packed “Mission
Impossible” film series and a sequel to “Mission Impossible: Fallout” in 2018,
“Mission Impossible: Dead Reckoning-Part One” will premiere worldwide on
Wednesday, July 12, at Screenville Cinemas of Island City Mall and Alturas
Mall.
Hollywood superstar Tom Cruise is back in the first episode of the
two-part film as IMF agent Ethan Hunt who embarks on his most dangerous
mission yet. Together with his IMF team, they are going to track down a
terrifying new weapon that threatens humanity before it falls into the wrong
hands.
With control of the future and the fate of the world at stake, and
dark forces from Ethan’s past closing in, a deadly race around the globe
begins. Confronted by a mysterious, all-powerful enemy, Ethan is forced to
consider that nothing can matter more than his mission – not even the lives
of those he cares about most.
A direct sequel, “Dead Reckoning-Part Two” is set to be released on
June 28, 2024, which looks to have another epic action story that sounds
like a worthy addition to the blockbuster franchise.
“MISSION IMPOSSIBLE: DEAD RECKONING-PART ONE” will premiere
worldwide on Wednesday, July 12, at Screenville Cinemas of Island City
Mall and Alturas Mall.
