Mayor Jane Yap Brings Mobile Services to Serve the Grassroots

In a commendable effort to bring essential services closer to the grassroot level, Mayor
Jane Yap has launched a series of mobile services for healthcare, dental care and
needs for legal, civil registrar, and grooming for the residents of Tagbilaran City.
These free mobile services recently visited barangay Cogon from June 21 to 23, 2023
providing vital assistance and support to the community.
The mobile services program will continue with its rounds at the different puroks and
barangays of Tagbilaran City, ensuring that no one is left without access to the services
he/she needs.
The Mobile Health Clinic is one of the flagship services offered by Mayor Jane Yap’s
initiative. Equipped with state-of-the-art medical equipment and staffed by competent
healthcare professionals, the clinic provides a range of services, including general
consultation, ultrasound, cardiac panel, ECG, blood typing, X-ray, and complete blood
count (CBC).
Complementing the Mobile Health Clinic is the Mobile Dental Bus, which offers dental
consultations and dental extractions while the Mobile Botika brings essential medicines
and supplies.
Another mobile service is the Mobile Grooming and Wellness that offers haircuts and
half-body massages. It aims to promote personal well-being and provide self-care
opportunities for Tagbilaranons.
Legal services are also made available through the mobile services program. Residents
can benefit from free legal consultation and assistance in the drafting and notarization of
simple documents, making legal services more accessible and affordable.
The Local Civil Registrar services cater to vital civil registry needs, including delayed
registration of live births, out-of-town delayed registration of live births, migrant petitions
for correction of clerical errors in registry documents, and legitimation processes.
Lastly, the Mobile Kitchen completes the roster of services provided. This mobile
kitchen provides meals and support during emergency situations, disaster response
efforts, and community events.
Mayor Jane Yap’s free mobile services program reflects her commitment to prioritize the
welfare and well-being of Tagbilaran City’s residents. By bringing essential services
directly to the grassroots, Mayor Jane Yap aims to enhance the quality of life and
provide accessible opportunities for all.
