Baclayon mayor Alvin Uy (inset, upper right corner) says that an early coastal clean-up activity on July
8, 2023 was conducted along the creek near the Baclayon public market. In this regard, the mayor
thanked the following for the successful task done: the Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction
Management Officer (MDRRMO), Engr. Sheena Israel; and Robert Alger Oppus. Both led the coastal
clean-up activity according to the mayor. The mayor also thanked the Sangguniang Bayan (SB)
members; all the local government unit employees; the Philippine National Police (PNP); the Bureau
of Fire Protection (BFP) R-VII Baclayon fire station; and all the volunteers who joined the activity. The
