Senator Bong Go visits Bohol, conducts site inspections, payouts, and graduation ceremony

Senator Christopher “Bong” Go visited Bohol on Monday, July 17, 2023. He was accompanied by actor Philip Salvador.

Go’s first stop was the New Cogon Public Market in Tagbilaran City.

He personally inspected the market, which was built with 50 million pesos in funds that he had allocated. He also met with vendors and market officials to discuss their concerns.

Go then proceeded to the Saulog Gym, where he conducted an AICS Payout to Indigent Families. He gave financial assistance to over 1,000 families in need.

The senator then visited the Super Health Center Site Inspection in Brgy. Dampas. He is a principal sponsor of Republic Act No. 11463, which established the Malasakit Centers program.

The program aims to streamline and expedite the process of availing medical assistance from different government agencies.

Go’s final stop was the BIT International School Graduation Ceremony at the Bohol Cultural Center. He was the guest of honor at the event.

Bohol Governor Aris Aumentado, Vice Governor Victor Balite, Tagbilaran City Mayor Jane Yap, Chief of Staff Baba Yap, Cortes Mayor Lyn Iven Lim, and Dauis Vice Mayor Meriam Sumaylo led the way in welcoming the senator during his visit.

Go’s visit to Bohol was well-received by the people. They thanked him for his continued support for the province.
