BLCI conducts rice-to-feed program, Brigada Eskwelain city village

Mayor Jane Yap expressed her gratitude to BLCI for its
continued support to the city of Tagbilaran.
“BLCI is a valuable partner of the city in providing
essential services to our people. We are grateful for their
commitment to helping the residents of Tagbilaran,
especially those in need,” said Mayor Yap.
Brgy. Captain Engr. Joseph Sagaral also thanked BLCI for
its support to the education sector in Brgy. San Isidro.
“The improvements made to our school through BLCI’s
Brigada Eskwela 2023 program will greatly benefit our
students. We are grateful for their generosity and
commitment to helping our children,” said Brgy. Captain
Sagaral.
BLCI is committed to providing quality electricity and other
essential services to its customers, Villareal said.
The company also believes in giving back to the
community through its various CSR programs.

Tagbilaran City, Bohol – Bohol Light Company, Inc. (BLCI)
successfully conducted its Rice-to-Feed program and
Brigada Eskwela 2023 in Brgy. San Isidro, this city, on
July 20, 2023.
The Rice-to-Feed program provided at least 400 food packs
to the residents of San Isidro.
The food packs contained rice, canned goods, and other
essential items.
The program was led by BLCI President Mr. Dennis
Villareal, General Manager Engr. Paulino Almedilla,
Tagbilaran City Mayor Jane Yap, and Brgy. San Isidro
Captain Engr. Joseph Sagaral.
Meanwhile, the Brigada Eskwela 2023 program focused
on electrical rewiring, correction of unsafe connections,
replacement of damaged bulbs, installation of new
ceiling/wall fans, and other improvements in 12
classrooms at San Isidro Elementary School.
The program was part of BLCI’s annual Corporate Social
Responsibility (CSR) Adopt-A-School Program.
BLCI aims to not only supply electricity but also provide
assistance to its consumers, especially those who need it
the most.
“We are happy to be able to help the residents of Brgy.
San Isidro through our Rice-to-Feed program. We also
hope that our Brigada Eskwela 2023 program will help
improve the learning environment for the students of San
Isidro Elementary School,” said BLCI President Mr. Dennis
Villareal.
