Tagbilaran City Government bringsMobile Services to barangay Cogon

In a continuing effort to bring essential services
closer to its residents, the City Government of
Tagbilaran, under the leadership of Mayor Jane
Yap, brought its free mobile services to barangay
Cogon on July 21, 2023.
The mobile services team, equipped with a fleet of
specialized vehicles and personnel, visited
barangay Cogon, bringing vital services directly to
the doorsteps of the community residents. The
mobile services initiative reflects the city’s
commitment of ensuring that every citizen has

access to necessary services without having to
travel far from their homes.
One of the main highlights of the Mobile Services
is the Mobile Health Clinic, a facility that allows
residents to receive general consultations,
ultrasound tests, cardiac panels, ECGs, blood
typing, X-rays, and complete blood counts (CBC).
The Mobile Dental Bus was also on site to provide
dental consultations and render dental extractions
for oral health.
The mobile services also included grooming and
wellness which offered free haircut and half-body
massage to promote overall well-being.
On the other hand, free legal services like legal
consultations and assistance in drafting and
notarizing simple documents were provided onsite.
Local Civil Registrar services were also extended,
allowing residents to avail themselves of delayed
registrations of live births and migrant workers’
petitions for corrections of clerical errors in the
registry documents.
A mobile kitchen was also available to provide free
snacks for all.
The free mobile services program has garnered
enthusiastic responses from barangay Cogon

residents, who expressed their appreciation for the
convenience and accessibility of the services
provided.
Mayor Jane Yap herself conveyed her delight at
witnessing the positive impact of the program on
the lives of her constituents.
“We are committed to ensuring that our services
reach every corner of Tagbilaran City, making it
easier for our citizens to access the vital services
they need. The Mobile Services represent our
dedication to serving the community and fostering
an inclusive and caring environment for all,” Mayor
Yap stated.
The mobile services have previously visited
barangays Cabawan, Bool, Tiptip and Poblacion I
and the program will continue its rounds, visiting
different puroks and barangays of Tagbilaran City,
providing convenient access to various services to
its residents.
