Buenavista Mayor Dave Duallo (4th from right) said the following statements: “Our dream has now
become a reality! On July 25, 2023, we inaugurated and blessed the newly opened Buenavista
Municipal High School (BMHS)! Thank you DepEd VII Regional Director, Dr. Salustiano Jimenez, for
all the support and for approving and signing the Permit to Open and Establish a Secondary School;
Bohol School Division Superintendent Dr. Evangel Luminarias; Asst. Superintendents Dr. Danilo
Gudelosao and Dr. Faustino Toradio for all the assistance in submitting the requirements to open a
high school; Buenavista District Supervisors Raphael Celocia and Ma. Pamela Navarrosa Cenita and
their principals and administrators for working hard with us for the establishment of the high school;
Gov. Aris Aumentado for all the assistance, particularly, for accepting the 8 BMHS teachers as
province-paid; Cong. Maria Vanessa Cadorna-Aumentado for agreeing to sponsor a bill to establish
Buenavista National High School (from Buenavista Municipal High School); SB Buenavista headed by
Vice Mayor Elsa Daka Tirol and all LGU department heads and staff for all the sacrifices and for
providing the needed funds for the construction of the school; Buenavista Municipal School Board and
Buenavista Federated PTA for all the documentary and physical work to open the school; the 12
barangay captains and officials for the voluntary work and help; to all the volunteers and workers who
helped in the construction of the school building and foremost to Almighty God for we can do nothing
without Him.” Mayor Duallo also said: “Sa akong mga kaigsuonang Buenavistahanons, labi na ang
atong mga kabataan, kining bag-o nga high school atong gitokod para kaninyo… para sa hayag ninyo
