NOW SHOWING
“Meg 2” at
Screenville Cinemas
A sequel to the hit monster film, “The Meg” in 2018, where man
battles for survival against gigantic prehistoric sharks and other terrifying
creatures, “Meg 2: The Trench” is now showing at Screenville Cinemas of
Island City Mall and Alturas Mall.
At the bottom of the Philippine sea in the western part of the Pacific
Ocean, two deep-sea submersibles with an international research team on
board are being attacked by massive sharks, known as Megalodon, which
were previously thought to be extinct.
With time running out, expert rescue diver Jonas Taylor (Jason
Statham-“The Transporter” films) must save the crew from colossal 75-foot-
long sharks as they lie disabled and stranded in the trench. To survive, they
must outrun and outsmart their merciless predators.
What no one could have imagined is that years before, Taylor had
encountered this same Megs which terrorized a popular Chinese beach resort
teeming with vacationers and tourists. Now he must risk his own life again to
save everyone trapped below the deepest depths of the ocean, forcing him
face to face once more with the greatest and largest predators of all time.
