Buenavista Mayor Dave Duallo (inset, upper right corner) announced that on July 30, 2023, at around
2:20 p.m., members of the Buenavista Municipal Police Force led by PCPT Edcel Delgado Petecio, chief
of police, provided area security and police visibility for the arrival of Senator Imee R. Marcos that
afternoon. The Senator visited the town of Buenavista, and stayed specifically at the Buenavista Cultural
Center located at Barangay Poblacion, in order to meet the beneficiaries and recipients of the AICS
financial aid from the towns of Clarin and Buenavista totalling to not less than 2,000 people. The cash
distribution for the recipients was led by Sen. Marcos and assisted by the Department of Social Welfare
and Development (DSWD). The event concluded at 3:35 p.m. and Mayor Duallo thanked that the activity
