On August 2, 2023, Barangay La Union celebrated its 59th foundation day and the celebration was led by
Brgy. Capt. Zosito Orevillo and the members of the barangay council. Also present during the event were
the LGU officials of the town led by Mayor Roberto C. Cajes (front row, 4th from left), who delivered a
message about the town’s developments and the upcoming projects. Kag Joan Cajes imboy (front row,
2nd from right), who also attended the event, announced more financial assistance for the Association of
Farmers and fisher folks in La Union (AFFILA) to be used in their Vegetable Crop Production and
Management for Sustainable Livelihood Program. Other guests who were present in the said event were:
Vice Mayor Fernando Erio (front row, 3rd from left), Hon. Jose Tabada (front row, 2nd from left), barangay
Captains of the neighboring barangays, and Municipal Administrator Brian Tinio (front row, extreme right).
