Antequera Mayor Jose Mario Pahang (inset, upper left corner) says that on Aug. 10, 2023, the
Philippine National Police Personnel of the Antequera Police Station, under the direct supervision of
PCPT Jasper Cainglea Reyes, chief-of-police, conducted the “Oplan Sita” checkpoint along the
National highway of Barangay Poblacion, Antequera, Bohol at around 09:00 a.m. onwards. This
activity, according to the mayor aimed to intensify police visibility and sincere police presence in the
areas to prevent any untoward incidents or any forms of criminal activities victimizing civilians on the
street. Motorists were also reminded to always obey traffic rules and to wear helmets while driving for
