LGU Jagna announces that the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) Field Office
VII disbursed the ₱1,000 Assistance to Individuals in Crisis Situations (AICS) to Jagna beneficiaries
on August 10, 2023, at the Municipal Social Welfare and Development Office. Beneficiaries who were
not present during the initial payout on July 6, 2023, were given the opportunity to claim their
assistance. Additionally, beneficiaries with medical conditions or who were out of town due to
emergencies, and were represented by their nearest relatives, were also able to claim the assistance
on their behalf. This assistance is provided through the office of Senator Risa Hontiveros, allocated
and administered by the DSWD Regional Office. The payout was carried out diligently by the Special
Disbursing Officers (SDOs) Mary Cris A. Vasquez SWO-1 and Ginnylou N. Logroño SWO-1, with the
support of the MSWD staff. This successful initiative was made possible by the ongoing
communication between the MSWD and DSWD, as well as the dedicated efforts of Mayor Joseph A.
