Kinaiyahan Forest Park: A New Eco-Friendly destination in Bohol

Bohol, Philippines – If you are looking for a new place to explore and enjoy nature, you might want to check out the Kinaiyahan Forest Park, a new eco-friendly destination in Bohol that is set to open soon.

The Kinaiyahan Forest Park is located in Barangay Zamora, Bilar, Bohol, a town known for its rich biodiversity and natural attractions. The park covers a 17-hectare forested area that showcases the beauty and diversity of bamboos.

The Kinaiyahan Forest Park is inspired by Japan’s famous Bamboo Park, and aims to create a similar experience for visitors who want to immerse themselves in the natural world.

The park has planted 5,000 bamboos of various varieties in 2021, and plans to have at least 20,000 bamboos in five hectares of land by the end of 2023. The park also features bamboo structures and facilities that complement the natural surroundings, such as bamboo arches, swings, chairs, tables, and a triangular pavilion. There is also a mini lake where visitors can relax and enjoy the view.

The Kinaiyahan Forest Park is not only a tourist attraction, but also a conservation project that aims to protect and promote the bamboo ecosystem in Bohol. Bamboos are known for their environmental benefits, such as providing oxygen, preventing soil erosion, and absorbing carbon dioxide.

The park also hopes to educate the public about the importance of bamboos and their uses in various industries, such as furniture, handicrafts, paper, and food.

The Kinaiyahan Forest Park is expected to open in August 2023, and will be a perfect destination for travelers, families, and nature lovers who want to experience the beauty and tranquility of Bohol’s natural attractions.

The park’s official Facebook page provides updates and teasers about the park’s development and opening date. You can also contact them through their email address kinaiyahanforestpark@gmail.com for inquiries and reservations.
