Water supply disrupted in Dauis due to equipment damage

Residents of Dauis, a town in the island province of Bohol, are experiencing water shortage after lightning strike damaged the equipment of the water utility company on Tuesday night.

According to a notice posted by Dauis Mayor Roman “Amoi” Bullen on his Facebook page, Bohol Water Utilities Inc. (BWUI) is currently unable to provide water to the town due to the damage.

He asked for the patience and understanding of his constituents as he hoped for the speedy resolution of the problem. He also thanked them for their support and assured them that he is working hard to serve them.

“Be patient my people. Let’s hope to speed up the improvement of that problem. Thank you very much. Your humble servant, Mayor Roman “Amoi” Bullen,” he was quoted as saying.

BWUI is a private company that operates and maintains the water system in Dauis and other parts of Bohol.
