The Commission on Higher Education (CHED) Regional Quality Assessment Team (RQAT) evaluated
the Danao Technological College (DTC) documents based on CMO #39, s.2021 relative to the two
program offerings of this two year old Higher Education Institution (HEI). The two program offerings
evaluated are: Bachelor of Science in Criminology (BSCrim) and Bachelor in Technical Vocational
Teacher Education (BTVTEd) major in Food Service Management (FSM). The evaluation was done
on Aug. 16, 2023. Regional office personnel Dr.SoteraCagang, Dr. Melissa Castillote, Dr. Debbie
Maningo, and Dr. Rita May Tagalog were able to scrutinize the presented documents based on
Commission Memorandum Order (CMO) as to validity and reliability. Mayor Jose G. Cepedoza (inset,
upper right corner) and Vice Mayor Albert B. Vitor (not in photo) who were represented by Mr. John
Patrick Supieza (the Municipal Administrator) with Mrs. Belen P. Signe (the General Services Officer)
audienced the deliberation of documents. The College President, together with the whole team,
successfully defended the substantiation interview in the assessment of documents. An on-site
validation of the availability of school offices, facilities, laboratories, and existing equipment in the
delivery of quality instruction was also conducted. The regional office personnel were able to express
their profound appreciation to the Local Government Unit of Danao because of its tremendous support
in establishing the college institution in the locality. The regional group was also impressed by the
management and the effort exerted by the school personnel. In addition, students are catered as local
government scholars of LGU-Danao who is considered remarkable by the evaluators for being able to
establish a college institution. The College President was able to record the institution’s technical
assistance and healthy comments for the benefit of all concerned. Currently, Danao Technological
College program offerings are already assessed and have received the government permit. Soon
these programs will be evaluated again by the Regional Team for Institutional Recognition (IR) in the
