PGBh Supports Danao Technological College with P350K for Criminology Lab

The Provincial Government of Bohol (PGBh) has shown its commitment to support the educational development of the province by providing financial assistance to the Danao Technological College (DTC) in Barangay Poblacion, Danao.

The PGBh, led by Governor Aris Aumentado, turned over a check worth P350,000 to Mayor Joe Cepedoza on August 25, 2023. The fund was sourced from the offices of Vice Governor Dionisio Victor Balite and Board Member (BM) Jamie Aumentado-Villamor, who also attended the ceremony.

The financial aid will be used for the procurement of laboratory equipment and apparatus for the Bachelor of Science in Criminology course offered by DTC.

The course aims to produce competent and ethical professionals who can contribute to the peace and order situation in the province and beyond.

DTC is one of the accredited higher education institutions in Bohol that offers quality and affordable education to its students. It is also a partner of the PGBh in implementing various programs and projects that benefit the community.

The PGBh’s donation is part of its Strategic Change Agenda, which prioritizes educational advancements among its key development areas. The PGBh believes that investing in education is essential for the progress and prosperity of Bohol and its people.
