TREE OF LIFE ACTIVITY. Lila Mayor Arturo Piollo II (inset, lower right corner) bares that on Aug. 25,
2023 the TREE OF LIFE activity was successfully conducted. He said: “In line with our 32nd Bureau
of Fire Protection Anniversary, with its theme: ‘Modernong Bumbero: Kaakibat Tungo sa Ligtas at
Maunlad na Pamayanan’, the Lila Fire station personnel headed by SFO3 Edwin L. Banac, OIC-MFM,
under the supervision of Supt. Raul G. Bustaliño, LLB, DPA, Provincial Fire Marshal, conducted the
Tree Planting Activity at barangay Cogon, Lila together with the members of the LILA Disaster & Risk
Reduction Management Office (DRRMO) and Cogon Barangay Elected and appointed officials.” The
mayor also said that the activity was done with the aim of replenishing lost trees and adding more
trees in our ecosystem for the welfare of our environment and for the benefit of human beings.
