Bohol Promotes Tourist Destinations at 34th Philippine Travel Mart

Bohol Governor Aris Aumentado led the province’s delegation during the opening of the 34th Philippine Travel Mart (PTM) on September 1, 2023, at the SMX Convention Center at Mall of Asia Complex in Pasay City.

The Bohol booth featured the municipalities of Anda, Panglao, and Loboc, as well as Loboc River Cruise, Carmen, LV Travel and Tours, and Rio Verde Floating Resto. Notable product participants included the Municipality of Antequera, Aproniana Gift Shop, CocoBerry, Tan Inong’s Asin Tibook, JZAKI Rice Wine, and Tubigon Loomweavers Multi-Purpose Cooperative.

Other Bohol exhibitors included Ramyer Travel and Tours, Amorita Resort, Bohol Beach Club, and Mithi Resort and Spa. Parklane Hotels and Resort, South Palms Resort Panglao, The Bellevue Hotels and Resort, Bohol Shores, BE Grand Resort Panglao, Bluewater Resort Panglao, and Ecotravelers Travel & Tours.

The PTM is participated by nearly 300 exhibitors from all 17 regions of the country, bringing together hotels, resorts, travel agencies, tour operators, and tourism offices offering vacation package discounts and deals for travel patrons.

Organized by the PHILTOA and supported by the DOT and TPB, the travel one-stop shop will run until September 3, 2023.

In his speech, Governor Aumentado said that Bohol is ready to welcome tourists back to the province. He highlighted the province’s many tourist destinations, including the Chocolate Hills, the Tarsier Sanctuary, and the Loboc River.

He also said that Bohol is a safe and friendly place to visit.

The 34th Philippine Travel Mart is a great opportunity for Bohol to showcase its many tourist destinations and businesses to the world, the governor added.
