NOW SHOWING
“The Equalizer 3” at
Screenville Cinemas

Two-time Academy Award winner Denzel Washington is back reprising
his iconic role as a vigilante to take on the notorious Sicilian mafia in the
third and final installment of the trilogy, “The Equalizer 3”, now showing at
Screenville Cinemas of Island City Mall and Alturas Mall.
After dealing out his own brand of justice in the first
two “Equalizer” movies, retired US marine and former CIA agent Robert
McCall (Washington) is trying to live a peaceful life giving up his profession
as a government assassin. But when he moves to Italy to recover a money
stolen in a cyber heist from a crime boss in Sicily, he finds a strange solace
in serving justice again on behalf of the oppressed.
McCall discovers that the peace-loving townfolks of Altamento in the
Italian coast of Amalfi are intimidated and under the control of the dreaded
Camorra, a local Sicilian mafia considered by the Italian Government to be
the largest and the most violent and murderous criminal organization in
Italy, involved in drug trafficking, racketeering, counterfeiting, and money
laundering.
As events turn deadly, McCall knows what he has to do — unleashes
his past self to keep the town free from the evil clutches of the Camorra.
Together with CIA agent Emma Collins (Dakota Fanning-“War of the
Worlds”), he goes out all guns blazing by taking on the mafia headed by the
infamous Quaranta brothers.
