Tagbilaran City Government brings mobile services to 4 more barangays

In an ongoing effort to provide essential services more conveniently to its residents, the City Government of Tagbilaran, under the leadership of Mayor Jane Yap, extended starting this early month of September, its free mobile services to 4 more barangays, namely: Manga, Taloto, Ubujan, and Dampas.

This laudable initiative, led by a dedicated team equipped with specialized vehicles and trained personnel, aims to bring vital services directly to the doorstep of the community.

Tagbilaran residents say that this project

underscores the city’s unwavering commitment to ensuring that every citizen can access necessary services without the need for extensive travel.

A central element of the Mobile Services program is the Mobile Health Clinic which offers residents a wide range of medical services, including general consultations, ultrasound examinations, cardiac panels, ECGs, blood typing, X-rays, and complete blood counts (CBC).

A Mobile Dental Bus is on site to provide dental consultations and perform dental extractions for the promotion of oral health.

In addition to healthcare services, the mobile initiative includes grooming and wellness, offering complimentary haircuts and relaxing half-body massage services to enhance overall well being.

Moreover, free legal services, such as consultation and assistance in drafting and notarizing simple documents, are also provided on site.

Local Civil Registrar services are readily available, too, enabling residents to secure delayed registrations of live births and submit migrant petitions for the correction of clerical errors on registry documents.

Furthermore, to keep everyone nourished, a mobile kitchen is on hand to provide complimentary snacks.

The free mobile services program has earned positive feedback from Tagbilaranons who have lauded its convenience and accessibility.

Mayor Jane Yap, herself, expressed her joy upon witnessing the impact of the project on the lives of her constituents.

“Our commitment knows no bounds when it comes to ensuring that our services reach every corner of Tagbilaran City, simplifying access to vital services for all our citizens. The Mobile Services embody our unwavering dedication to serving the community and creating an environment that is both inclusive and caring,” remarked Mayor Yap.

The mobile services program will continue its rounds, visiting different puroks and barangays within Tagbilaran City, thereby ensuring convenient access to a wide array of services for all its residents.
