Tagbilaran City Mayor Jane Yap delivered her inspirational message to the group and recognized the importance of nurturing a dynamic and engaged workforce.

She emphasized, “Our employees are the backbone of our city government. By investing in their professional and personal development, we are not only enhancing their individual lives but also strengthening the city’s overall capacity to serve our beloved Tagbilaranons.”

The HR Symposium featured a lineup of distinguished speakers who shared their expertise on a range of topics aimed at enhancing the well-being and productivity of the city’s workforce.

Fr. Darwin Gitgano delved into the theme of Basic Deliverance and Inner Healing, emphasizing the importance of emotional and mental well-being in the workplace.

Dr. Rovi Valerie Butalid Baguhin-Cayetuna discussed Work-Life Balance for People in Careers, offering practical strategies to maintain equilibrium between professional responsibilities and personal life, a crucial aspect of employee satisfaction and productivity.

This HR Symposium, organized as part of the activities celebrating the 123rd anniversary of the Philippine Civil Service, served as a venue for employees to gain new knowledge as well as platform for networking and the exchange of ideas among colleagues.

It reflects the City Government of Tagbilaran’s commitment to fostering a productive, motivated, and well rounded workforce dedicated to serving the needs of the city and its residents.
