Balilihan Mayor Pureza Veloso Chatto (2nd from right) releases the information that on Sept. 16,
2023, she witnessed the PUROK Evaluation with Vice Mayor Trisha Chatto (extreme, right). This
evaluation is based on the guidelines/instructions mandating the implementation of the Purok System
in the Countryside Action Program Purok Power Movement (CAP PPM) of the Local Government Unit
(LGU) that covers agriculture, health, education, sanitation, order and peace and livelihood. This CAP
PPM was created in the late 80’s in the administration of Mayor Edgar Chatto who is now our
congressman in the first district of Bohol. Each barangay has six (6) PUROK headed by barangay
councilors except for the 1st councilor. This was done in Candasig, Del Carmen Weste and Dorol,
