TAGBILARAN CITY, Bohol – Operatives of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) Bohol destroyed another drug den in Barangay Booy in this city during a raid on Tuesday afternoon, September 26, 2023.
Three suspects were arrested, two of them were female users who were inside the house where the illegal drug activity was taking place.
The third suspect was identified as Vicente Macajes Bumaat, 59, a resident of Barangay Booy, who was allegedly the maintainer of the drug den.
According to PDEA Bohol, they seized various sachets of suspected shabu weighing about seven grams with an estimated market value of P54,600.
They also confiscated drug paraphernalia and other items from the suspects.
The two female users were identified as Jovelyn Sambayon Aneslagon, 35, from Pamaong Extension, Barangay Cogon and Mariline Rigador Resoginia, 46, a native of Barangay Careta, Cebu City.
The suspects are now facing charges for violation of Sections 5, 6, 7, 11 and 12 of Article II of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
